To Engineer Subhi Taha/General Director of Dar Al Maarifah - Damascus

Assalamu Alaykum WRWB,
Reference: your registered letter no.492 Dated 10/12/2002.
We would like to inform you that there an enormous benefit to the Non-native speaker of Arabic when they profit from using color-coding of Tajweed rules in the Arabic text, which has been transliterated in Latin letters, next to the Arabic pages of the Noble Qur'an with meaning translation into English on the margin of your edition: Tajweed Qur'an edition (Wa Rattel-el-Qur'an Tartilla), which was approved by the General Mufti in reply to your registered letter no.290, dated 28/6/1994, which resulted in the approval no. 18952, dated 14/9/1994 from Ministry of Information, also approval from Al-Azhar El-Shareef dated 8/9/1999.

Therefore we bless this good work in serving the Book of Allah for the Non-native speakers of Arabic, as long as you strictly abide by the right pronunciation of the Noble Qur'an and it's Tajweed Rules and the positions of places of stop.

Allah (swt) Bless you

Damascus, 10/12/2002
