To
Engineer Subhi Taha/General Director of Dar Al Maarifah - Damascus
Assalamu Alaykum
WRWB,
Reference: your registered letter no.82, Dated 9/4/2003.
We wish
to inform you that its a great benefit for the reader of the Noble Qur'an
to practice to stop at the right places of stop, so that he avoids the
errors in the meaning of the words if his stop is not at the right place.
Because (as it is known that) following the Tajweed means: getting the
right pronunciation of the letters, and knowing perfectly well the places
of stop.
Since
there is a change in the Tajweed rules according to the places of stop,
(& to understand it requires experience and knowledge), the meaning
can be dispersed for the reader in case of his having no experience. While
it helps the reader to feel relax, it assists in showing him the meaning
and the beauty of recitation. It also makes him avoid every place of stop,
which is unsuitable to the meaning of the grandeur of the Noble Qur'an.
Therefore,
we see that your work, which based on leaving a short space at the places
of stop in application of the Tajweed rules according to the meanings
and the manner that is applied in the official adopted Qur'an, either
printed or recited forms
a condition that never affects the beauty
of calligraphy in the Othmani style, that is indeed a blessed and felicitous
work; serves the Book of Allah (swt), as a method for learning on special
editions of the Tajweed Qur'an (Wa Rattel Al-Qur'an Tartilla). Also this
must been notified on the cover of each edition and on every page. Its
name: (Learning aid to read with the places of stop with the assistance
of Tajweed).
May
Allah (swt) bless you.
